Tenure track Assistant Professor positions in Reproductive and Biomedical Sciences

The Department of Biomedical Sciences at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY is seeking two tenure-track Assistant Professors with active programs in either of two areas of fundamental research. One recruit will be studying reproductive processes important for fertility and the development of healthy offspring. We are seeking experts in all areas of reproductive biology, including gonadal development and function, germ line development, meiosis, gametogenesis, fertilization, pregnancy, infertility, conservation biology, and development of novel contraceptive strategies. Cornell Reproductive Sciences seeks to be the world leader in innovative and multidisciplinary reproductive research.

The second recruit will be studying an area of biomedical sciences, broadly defined, that aligns and synergizes with departmental interests in the molecular basis of animal and human health and disease. Work may be in one or more areas that include but are not limited to physiology, stem cell biology, metabolism, cardiovascular biology, reproduction, and neurobiology.

Successful candidates for both positions will be using genetic, genomic, epigenomic, molecular, cell biological, biochemical, or physiological approaches, including use of model, non-model, or domestic animal species. Both are twelve month appointments.
