Important Details

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: April 15, 2026 (11:59 PM ET)
    • Abstract submission is for in-person presentations only.
    • $50 non-refundable handling fee payment required
    • There will NOT BE online revisions after submission
    • Proof your abstract carefully before submitting it! Confirm all authors are listed on the abstract in the preview. If they are not, go back and add them.
    • Character limit: 2000 including spaces for the body of the abstract. Do NOT repeat the abstract title and authors in the body of the abstract. Please keep the entire abstract in one paragraph.
    • Funding sources must be acknowledged at the end of the abstract. This is included in the 2000 characters count.
    • If submitting a science abstract and an education abstract, submit the education abstract as a non-member.
  • Abstract withdrawal requests must be made in writing by May 6, 2026
    • Email [email protected] with subject title "Abstract Withdrawal"
    • Include abstract ID number in request

Trainee Definitions
  • Postdoc = Postdoctoral researchers within seven years of doctoral degree graduation date
  • Graduate Student = Individuals enrolled in a master's or doctoral graduate training program
  • Undergraduate Student = Individuals enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Postbac = Individuals within two years of their undergraduate degree (bachelor's) graduation date, not enrolled in a graduate program
