Stanford University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Developmental Biology in the Beckman Center for Molecular and Genetic Medicine in the School of Medicine. We are interested in candidates who will establish a vigorous and innovative research program studying fundamental biological processes in any experimental system.
We view Developmental Biology in the broadest sense, encompassing Microbes to Humans and employing a wide variety of molecular and genetic approaches as well as systems level biology, engineering, and computational science. Current faculty in the department of Developmental Biology use a diverse range of genetic, genomic, cell biological, biochemical, and computational approaches to study many different organisms, including microbes, worms, flies, fish, mice, and humans.
