Adjunct Instructor for Online Developmental Biology Course, Department of Biology, Colorado State University

CSU seeks a part time Adjunct Instructor to teach Developmental Biology online in Spring 2021. Minimum qualifications include a PhD in Developmental/Cell/Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences or other appropriate field. This is a 4 credit, undergraduate level course of up to 186 students. The instructor is responsible for preparation of course materials, instruction by lecture and active learning, assessment of student work, assistance to enrolled students, coordination of graduate teaching assistants who lead the lab activities, and reporting grades.  The course runs Jan 19 to May 14, 2021. Lecture materials will be provided online using Zoom, ECHO360 and Canvas platforms, with a preference for synchronous instruction (8:00-8:50 am MWF). The instructor will hold office hours online for 2 hrs/week, and meet weekly with GTAs to review the upcoming lab. (Lab units are already prepared.)
