Assistant or Associate Professor in Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology, University of Kentucky

The Department of Biology at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology starting in the fall of 2018. We seek a colleague whose research explores fundamental aspects of the molecular and cellular control of tissue regeneration and stem cell behavior, and we encourage candidates working in any organismal or cellular system to apply. The ideal candidate will complement existing faculty strengths in regenerative biology, cell and developmental biology, genetics, genomics, and evolutionary biology. We anticipate making an appointment at the level of Assistant Professor; however, exceptionally qualified candidates at the level of Associate Professor will also be considered, particularly researchers who can fulfill a leadership role aimed at continued growth in this area.
