International Conference on Molecular Biology: Current Aspects and Prospects (ICMB2026)
September 21, 2026 - September 24, 2026
Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, Romania
The 3rd edition of the International Conference on Molecular Biology: Current Aspects and Prospects (ICMB2026) will be held on 21–24 September 2026 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Bringing together leading experts, researchers, early-career scientists, and students, ICMB2026 will offer a rich scientific program featuring keynote lectures, research presentations, scientific discussions, and networking opportunities designed to stimulate collaboration and inspire new perspectives across the field.
Keynote Speakers:
Éva Kondorosi (Biological Research Centre Szeged / Hungarian Academy of Sciences) –
internationally recognized for her work on plant–microbe symbiosis, particularly the molecular
mechanisms governing nitrogen-fixing interactions between legumes and bacteria.
Nikolaus Rajewsky (Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine/ Charité University Berlin) – a
pioneer in systems biology and RNA regulation, exploring gene expression networks, single-cell
genomics, and regulatory roles of non-coding RNAs.
Andrei Lupas (Max Planck Institute for Biology Tübingen) – known for his research on protein
evolution and structure, with a focus on the origins and diversification of protein folds and molecular
complexes.
Centered on molecular regulation across the domains of life, the conference will provide a platform to explore cross-disciplinary topics spanning DNA to proteins, with a focus on mechanisms, networks, and applications.
