Abstract submission is for Short Talk Consideration (12 min talk, 3 min
Q&A), Lightning Talk Consideration (3 min talk opportunity for SDB Undergraduate Members) and Poster Presentation Consideration. Check all that apply.
Awards will be given out for both oral and poster presentations. The top undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral oral presentation winners will receive a travel award to present at the SDB annual meeting. Current SDB membership (2026 dues paid)
at time of abstract submission is required to be eligible for receipt of the travel award. If you are not a current member,
renew or join before submitting your abstract.
Please review the abstract submission instructions.
Save your entire abstract as a text file (.txt) to remove all formatting before starting your submission. The entire abstract must be one paragraph only. There is a 2000 character limit (with spaces) for the abstract text. Note that all abstracts must list funding sources in the last sentence. NO ONLINE REVISION of the abstract is available after submission. Therefore, please review your abstract carefully on the preview page before submitting. If you do not see everything in the preview, go back to add the missing items.
If you have any problems, contact SDB at sdb@sdbonline.org with "2026 NESDB Abstract Question" in the subject line or call 301-634-7815 during office hours (M-F, 8:30 AM - 5 PM ET).
