The Mitchell lab at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology in Chicago is looking for a Research Technician. The Mitchell lab uses developing Xenopus embryos and high-end confocal and light-sheet microscopy to address mechanistic cell biological questions surrounding the formation and maintenance of complex epithelia. This position will involve working on projects devoted to in vivo cell migration, cell polarization, and cell extrusion. Candidates with a keen interest in basic science will be prioritized. Great opportunity for a graduating senior who wants to gain more experience before graduate school.
