The Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University in downtown Chicago seeks candidates at the rank of Assistant Professors. Applicants at the interface of quantitative and cell/developmental biology, integrating both experiments and mathematical modeling/computational analyses in their work are particularly encouraged to apply.
 
Qualified candidates should hold Ph.D., or equivalent degrees.  Applicants should have a strong record of peer-review publications and ability to perform cutting-edge research. The successful candidate is expected to create an independent, intellectually exciting, and innovative research program while mentoring graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. We offer a highly interactive collegial research environment with state-of-the-art research facilities, generous recruitment packages, and substantial mentorship to develop a successful academic career.
