We are looking for curious and resourceful individuals to join our group as postdocs! Candidates will work on NIH-funded projects to study how cellular organization and tissue forces shape the mandibular arch in mouse embryos and regulate dental epithelial stem cells in adult mouse incisors. Candidates will have the opportunity to spearhead a multidisciplinary and collaborative research that combines mouse genetics, live imaging, biomechanical approaches, and single cell technology to investigate the tissue mechanical and epigenetic regulation of progenitor and stem cells, using the mouse mandible and tooth as model systems. To further explore our research, please visit: https://www.thehulab.org/
Applicants should have a strong background in stem cell or developmental biology, molecular biology, and microscopy. Experience with imaging analyses using imageJ or Imaris is a plus. Salary is commensurate with NIH guidelines.
To apply, please send your (1) CV, (2) a brief statement of research interests (no more than a page), and (3) the names and email addresses of three references via email to: Jimmy Hu, PhD, at [email protected]
