Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Laboratory Technician for the Human Genetics Institute of NJ – Nakamura lab (Department of Genetics) and Copeland lab (Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) .
This is a shared position by the two labs to maintain zebrafish facilities and conduct basic experiments of zebrafish genetics. Nakamura lab reveals evolutionary and developmental mechanisms of the fish-to-tetrapod transition combining functional genomics, developmental biology, and comparative anatomy (website; http://nakamuralab.com/). Copeland lab seeks to understand redox biology during development with an emphasis on the role of the essential trace element selenium.
