A research technician position is immediately available in Dr. Ksenia Gnedeva’s laboratory at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA.
The appointee will assist with general laboratory tasks, such as mouse colony maintenance and genotyping, ordering and maintaining stocks of supplies, and tissue culture. Applicants must have at least a year of experience working in the wet lab. Proficiency in PCR, cloning, nucleic acid extraction, and use of basic laboratory equipment is expected. Applicants with B.S. or B.A. degrees are encouraged to apply. Effective oral and written communication and organizational skills are also required.
