The Division of Biology at Alfred University invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor of Biology beginning August 2020. Specific teaching assignments would include Human Anatomy and Physiology with lab for biology majors, and Human Anatomy and Physiology / Physiology of Aging courses for allied health majors. Faculty responsibilities include an active program of research and scholarship, student advising, and participation in shared faculty governance. Ph.D. in biology or related field required. ABD considered (for Instructor rank). Post-doctoral experience and undergraduate teaching experience is preferred. Must provide engaging and applied learning opportunities for students, should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence, innovation, and diversity in undergraduate teaching and close interaction with students.
