The Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for tenure-track assistant professor-level positions. Applicants must have a doctoral or equivalent degree, postdoctoral experience, documented evidence of high-quality research productivity, and a strong commitment to both research and teaching.
The successful candidate is expected to: 1) develop and maintain a nationally recognized, externally funded research program; 2) train BS, MS and PhD students; and 3) teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. Candidates using cutting-edge approaches to address fundamental questions in biology, including but not limited to cell biology, computational biology and bioinformatics, cellular biophysics, developmental biology, microbiology, physiology, and evolutionary biology, are encouraged to apply.
