A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available in the Tao laboratory in the group of Cancer Biology and Immunotherapies at Sanford Research. The Tao lab uses mouse models and human cells to discover genetic determinants of cell plasticity, self-renewal, and differentiation in bone progenitor cells as well as those factors in the cancer stem cell niche that promotes osteosarcoma. This position will have a dual focus on the skeletal developmental biology and bone diseases including osteosarcoma. This position will require contributions both as an individual and as part of a team, as well as mentorship to junior lab members.
Candidate requirements: we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a PhD in a biomedical sciences related field, with at least one first author publication. A successful candidate must be committed to a career in research in developmental biology, bone biology, mouse models, and/or cancer genetics, epigenetics, and therapeutics. To apply, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your curriculum vitae, a cover letter clearly stating your motivation and future research interests/plans and the names/contact information of at least three referees.
