Postdoctoral Position in Shark Evolutionary Developmental Biology, Stem Cell Biology and Tooth Regeneration, University of Florida

A postdoctoral position is available in the Laboratory of Gareth Fraser at the Department of Biology, University of Florida.
We are looking for a motivated and creative scientist to develop the shark as an evodevo model for a range of research projects. The primary focus of this position is stem cell mediated tooth regeneration in sharks and rays, however we do encourage development of creative research ideas. Candidates should have an interest in evolutionary developmental biology, and vertebrate diversity. Knowledge of developmental biology techniques, RNAseq analyses or stem/regenerative biology is desirable.
The anticipated start date would be August 16, 2019.
