The Arora Lab in the Department of Obstetrics Gynecology and Reproductive Biology and the Institute for Quantitative Health Science and Engineering at Michigan State University ( is seeking an enthusiastic and creative postdoctoral fellow (Research Associate) to work on a project focusing on mechanisms underlying changes in the three-dimensional structure of the murine uterus promoting embryo implantation. The lab uses classic developmental biology and implantation biology methods, mouse genetics, gene expression analysis and state-of-the art laser-scanning confocal microscopy complemented by 3D image analysis and computational modeling approaches.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Developmental Biology, Reproductive Physiology, Biomedical Engineering or Biomathematics from an accredited university with at least one first author publication. 
  • Work well in a multidisciplinary research team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and perform mouse husbandry and animal surgery
  • An interest in approaching biological problems with a quantitative mindset
