Trainee Travel Awards

11th Structural Birth Defects Meeting

April 3-5, 2017

This travel award program aims to provide travel assistance to students and postdocs (trainees) attending the 11th Structural Birth Defects meeting to be held April 3-5, 2017, at the FASEB Conference Center in Bethesda, MD. Students and postdoctoral fellows who are the first authors of a submitted abstract may request funds to offset their travel expenses to the meeting. The level and number of travel awards will depend on the number of applications received and available funding. Notification of awards will be made in early March.

The applicant’s advisor must email to a brief letter of support for the application which states how much they can contribute to the trainee attending the meeting and that they approve of the attendance.  The subject title of the email must be '11th Birth Defect Support Letter' and received by February 3, 2017.  It is the applicant’s responsibility to request this support letter.  Applications without the support letter by the deadline will not be reviewed.
