Late Abstract Submission

Submission Deadline: Friday, September 22, 2023, 11:59 pm E.T.

Late Abstracts are being accepted for Poster Presentation Only. Postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduate student SDB members are eligible for the best poster competition. Please indicate if you would like your poster presentation to be considered for a prize. Presenting authors selected for short talks can also present a poster for consideration in the best poster competition.

The best undergraduate student, graduate student, and postdoctoral presentation winners will receive a travel award to present at the SDB 83rd Annual Meeting in Atlanta. Current SDB membership (2023 dues paid) at time of abstract submission is required to be eligible for these awards. If you are not a current member, renew or join before submitting your abstract.

Undergraduate Travel Assistance

Undergraduate student members of the Society for Developmental Biology who submit an abstract for the SDB Southeast Regional Meeting may apply for $100 travel assistance to attend the meeting. All applicants must be the first and presenting author of their submitted abstract and in good standing with SDB (2023 dues paid before abstract submission and meeting registration).

Extended Application Deadline: Friday, September 22, 2023 (or until all travel awards are distributed)
