The University of California (UC), Davis, School of Medicine, department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine seeks to hire a full-time employee as an Assistant Project Scientist.
This position requires creative contributions and collaborative development of an active research program investigating topics relevant to the research area of focal adhesion -associated disorders including cancers and kidney diseases. Basic Qualifications: PhD in the fields related to molecular biology and biotechnology.Three or more years of research experience in the area of focal adhesions. Extensive experience in molecular cloning, protein expression, and cell culture. Excellent knowledge in mouse biology and histology. Extensive experience with multivariate statistical analysis of large data set, excellent publication record and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to perform surgery on mice . Ability to analyze mouse embryos, strong background in renal diseases and/or cancers.
